Thundering Heights Highlights March 13th

FROM THE OFFICE

We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful March Break filled with favorite activities and time spent with loved ones! We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, March 23rd.

Our Grade 3 classes have completed two of their three "Swim to Survive" sessions. It is a joy to see their smiling faces and newfound confidence when they return to school! This past Thursday, a team of Grade 5 students traveled to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a STEM challenge. They demonstrated impressive problem-solving skills and collaborated to find creative solutions to every task—way to go!

Our Intermediate students participated in a unique intramural league this year, allowing them to develop their skills consistently over the season. Beyond the physical benefits, the school spirit has been incredible! During this week’s playoffs, students from all divisions gathered to cheer on the teams and enjoy some high-energy basketball. It’s been wonderful to see such school pride filling our hallways.

To wrap up the week, we celebrated with a "Cozy Day!" Our students always love the opportunity to wear whatever makes them feel most comfortable. Have a safe and relaxing break—we can’t wait to open the doors for you again on Monday, March 23rd!

Did you know some schools recognize World Down Syndrome Day on Monday, we invite you to Rock your Socks!
